  • Brett Venhuizen is a professor of aviation at the University of North Dakota where he teaches aviation law, flight courses, and graduate courses in the M.S. and Ph.D. programs. In addition to being an active flight instructor since 1990, he has also been a charter and corporate pilot. He currently co-owns a Cirrus SR-22.Brett received his undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota and his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law. He is admitted to the bar in North Dakota and South Dakota. He is also an AOPA panel attorney.Brett limits his law practice primarily to FAA enforcement matters and aviation transactional work.
