Essential Elements of Accident Investigation and Litigation
Register today and join your friends and colleagues for the October 30 – November 1, 2013 IATSBA Air and Transportation Law Conference in beautiful Pensacola Beach, Florida. Online registration is now available. Please make your hotel arrangements early.
As in years past, we are using the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front Hotel. We have reserved a block of discounted rooms. The rates are very competitive and a welcome break from the higher rates we experienced for last year’s conference in D.C.
The room rates are as follows:
- Standard Room $119
- Deluxe View $139
- Gulf Front Room $159
- 1 Bedroom Suite $159
- 2 Bedroom Suite $199
- 3 Bedroom Suite $249
The conference Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be held at the National Flight Academy adjacent to the Naval Aviation Museum on Naval Air Station Pensacola, a short drive from the Hilton. Bus transportation will be provided to all events at the Flight Academy and Museum. An evening at the National Flight Academy will be an absolute treat, as those who have attended our awards dinners in the past will attest.
For those who want to stay over until Sunday, there is a small block of rooms reserved for Saturday night. As with previous conferences, it is quite likely that the block of reserved rooms will be sold out before we reach the deadline for those discounted reservations, so we urge you to book early.
This year’s program will offer some very interesting activities and presentations. There will be a Welcome Reception for attendees and speakers on Tuesday evening, October 29, at the hotel. There will be continuing legal education (CLE) sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday related to aviation accident investigation, tort litigation, recent NTSB enforcement decisions, and FAA regulatory issues. There will also be a one and a half hour ethics session on Friday morning presented by John Marshall, Esq., of ProEthics, Ltd. He comes highly recommended for his very informative and entertaining ethics classes. On Friday afternoon, there is an outing at the Naval Aviation Museum and National Flight Academy where attendees can tour the Museum and Flight Academy.
If you have questions about the conference, please feel free to contact Gary Halbert at (202) 469-5150 or by e-mail at email@example.com, or Greg Winton at (301) 294-8550 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you at this year’s conference!
